Vinyl has strong insulating properties and a powerful adhesive, making this tape one of the most widely used in the manufacture of electrical harnesses.

What’s more, this tape is “flame retardant”, so it won’t catch fire.
When used with 3M heat-shrink tubing, the tape bonds with the tubing.
