As ageneral rule, when crimping a terminal onto a wire, we recommend that you always solder it with tin in addition to crimping.This provides much better electrical conductivity, but also better mechanical strength. Forfoolproofinsulation, opt for heat-shrink tubing to cover your crimp + solder.
