Repair tape for hoses
This self-adhesive tape is used to repair cracked and punctured hoses.
Wrap this tape tightly around your cracked hose.
Made from Butyl rubber, this roll is self-amalgamating, so when it’s applied, the successive layers bond together to form a totally watertight and insulating whole.
What’s more, this tape is “flame retardant”, so it won’t catch fire.
Application advice:
It’s essential to degrease and clean your hose before applyingthe tape. For a flawless application and repair, the ideal ambient temperature is 20°C / 35°C .
If you don’t have the required temperature, we recommend using a heat gun or blowtorch to heat the tape.
You can also leave the roll in the sun to warm up, so thatthe chemical bond between the layers is completely watertight .
