Flexible insulation paste in rolls

This insulation putty is used to insulate high and very high voltage live conductors.

After applying this paste on a roll to your conductor, it is essential to cover it with a heat-tractable sleeve or vinyl tape to fix the paste inplace.

  1. Electrical insulation for live conductors
  2. Insulation against external aggressions (water, dust, heat)

Made from Butyl rubber, this roller is self-amalgamating. When applied, the successive layers bond together to form a totally watertight and insulating unit.

What’s more, this sealant is “flame retardant”, so it won’t catch fire.

Application advice:

For flawless application and insulation, the ideal ambient temperature is 20°c / 25°C.

If you don’t have the required temperature, we recommend using a heat gun or blowtorch to heat the paste.

You can also leave the roller in the sun to warm up, so thatthe chemical bond between the layers is completely watertight .

Technical specifications:

  • Length: 60cm
  • Width: 6.3 cm
  • Thickness: 3.2mm
  • Application temperature: 15°C to 30°C
  • Operating temperature: -55°C to +90°C
